Biggest small-cap gainers and losers in Monday's trading

Here are Monday’s biggest percentage gainers and losers, along with top volume leaders, among companies with a market cap between $50 million and $750 million:

Biggest percentage gainers:

Vanda Pharmaceuticals Inc. (Nasdaq:VNDA), up 29.9% to $5.47 on no significant news.
Herley Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq:HRLY), up 22.9% to $14.75 after the Lancaster, Penn.-based defense products supplier announced it pleaded guilty to two counts of obstructing an audit related to sales to the U.S. government. The firm was fined $3.5 million.
INX Inc. (Nasdaq:INXI), up 18.6% to $9.25 after the Houston-based provider of network solutions reported that it expects double-digit revenue growth in the second quarter.

Biggest percentage losers:

PharmaNet Development Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: PDGI), down 23.3% to $20.06 after the New York City-based health services provider’s first-quarter profit missed expectations.
RRSat Global Communications Network Ltd. (Nasdaq:RRST), down 20.4% to $11.81 on no obvious news.
Citizens Republic Bancorp, Inc. (Nasdaq:CRBC), down 17.9% to $6.65 despite no new news from the Flint, Mich.-based banking and financial services company.
