Here are Tuesday’s biggest percentage gainers and losers, along with top volume leaders, among companies with a market cap between $50 million and $750 million:

Biggest percentage gainers:

Agria Corp. (NYSE:GRO), up 36.6% to $7.17 after being highlighted by CNBC.
Royale Energy, Inc. (Nasdaq:ROYL), up 33.6% to $11.09 despite no announcements.
Biggest percentage losers:
OMNI Energy Services Corp. (Nasdaq:OMNI), up 18.7% to $6.78 despite no news.

Biggest percentage losers:

Macrovision Solutions Corp. (Nasdaq:MVSND), down 17.4% to $13.76 despite no reports from the company.
Layne Christensen Co. (Nasdaq:LAYN), down 13.3% to $46.12 despite the drilling and construction services firm’s announcement early Tuesday that its first-quarter net income jumped 29% to $10.6 million, or $0.55 per share, from $8.2 million, or $0.52 per share, a year earlier. Wall Street analysts expected earnings of $0.54 per share.
Mitcham Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq:MIND), down 11.3% to $19.37 despite posting a rise in first-quarter earnings.

Volume leaders:

Royale Energy, Inc. (Nasdaq:ROYL), 9.6 million shares traded versus average of 0.3 million.
Western Refining, Inc. (NYSE:WNR), 9.5 million shares traded versus average of 2.6 million shares.
UAL Corp. (Nasdaq:UAUA), 6.8 million shares traded versus average of 6.2 million shares.
