Optical Cable posts robust Q2 results

Fiber optic cables manufacturer Optical Cable Corp. (Nasdaq:OCCF) said after Wednesday’s close that sales surged 21% in its fiscal second quarter, while earnings spiked 275%. Results were bolstered as increases in both of its specialty and commercial markets took flight over a broad customer base and product mix.
