Evolution Petroleum completes drilling on two wells, starts on another

Evolution Petroleum Corporation (AMEX:EPM) was modestly up Thursday after the Houston-based company announced it had completed the drilling two wells in central Texas and is installing production equipment on another. The oil and natural gas producer said net sales volumes have increased substantially, and oil production from the completed wells was slightly better than expected. Shares of Evolution Petroleum were trading at $5.37 before the closing bell on Thursday, up about 6.7% from Wednesday’s close.
