European committee asks for additional data from IDM Pharma on Mifamurtide trial

IDM Pharma Inc. (Nasdaq:IDMI) on Tuesday said the European Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use has asked for more data regarding the biopharmaceutical company’s Phase 3 Mifamurtide trial. Mifamurtide is used to treat osteosarcoma, which is a fatal bone tumor. The Irvine, Calif.-based company said it will present additional data analyses by the end of August so that the European committee can consider the treatment during its September meeting. IDM Pharma said it expects a decision in the fourth quarter of this year. Ahead of the bell Tuesday, IDM Pharma was down 3.4% to $1.98 per share.
