Darrell Delamaide

Darrell Delamaide is a freelance writer and editor based in Washington, D.C. He has specialized in business and finance over a long career, writing for Barron's, Dow Jones, Institutional Investor, and Bloomberg, among others. He was also content director for AOL's Money and Finance channel. Darrell has written extensively about companies, stock markets and industrial sectors. He has also written about economic policy, banking, capital markets, energy, futures and options, and other business subjects. In addition to journalism, Darrell writes speeches for top executives and government officials. A longtime resident of Europe and a graduate of Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs, Darrell also writes about international economics, global markets, foreign policy, and other international topics. Darrell has published three books, including a financial thriller. He is currently working on an historical novel.
