Melvin Pasternak

Melvin bought his first stock, IBM, when he was a teenager in 1962. Since then he has taught college-level stock market courses and instructed investors in seminars presented at brokerage firm T.D. Waterhouse.

Melvin is the author of 21 Candlesticks Every Trader Should Know, a book on the use of Japanese candlestick charts published by Trader's Press.  For almost five years, he wrote a newsletter aimed at swing traders published by StreetAuthority.com.
