Paul is assistant business editor at The Courier-Journal, the largest daily newspaper in Kentucky.

Paul has primarily written and edited financial and technology news for nearly two decades. His interests include technology, computers and multimedia production.

Before moving to Louisville, Ky., Paul was a Washington DC-based senior technology correspondent for BridgeNews, a leading global financial wire service that catered to supplying news and financial data to Wall Street. Paul also worked a number of years at The Columbus (Ohio) Dispatch, where he edited and designed the business section.

Paul has received many awards for his coverage of horse racing, as an industry and a sport, which remains one of his interests and pastimes. In Ohio, for several years Paul was a popular handicapper of both thoroughbred and harness tracks for the newspaper.
