Chelsea Therapeutics International reports positive study results

Chelsea Therapeutics International, Ltd. (Nasdaq: CHTP) reported positive results from its human bioequivalence study of its lead product candidate in the pharmaceutical company to be used in a Phase II evaluation in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis.

Specifically, the company quantified the improvements in relative bioavailability demonstrated by disodium salt formulation of CH-1504 and identified doses to be used in a Phase II evaluation in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis

Shares of Chelsea jumped 12.93%, or $0.79 to $6.90 in pre-market trading.
