IDM Pharma says program for treatment of osteosarcoma is safe

Shares of IDM Pharma (Nasdaq: IDMI) are leaping in pre-market trading after the developer of innovative cancer products to destroy cancer cells reported this morning that data from its evaluation program of mifamurtide in patients with lung metastases as a result of the progression of osteosarcoma show that mifamurtide, when used in combination with other therapies, is safe, well-tolerated and exhibited signs of disease control.
Osteosarcoma is a rare and often fatal bone tumor that typically affects children and young adults.
Shares of IDM Pharam (IDMI) advanced 22.3%, or $0.31, to $1.70 ahead of the opening. Shares of IDM Pharam have been trading in the range of $1.20 to $10.75 for the past 52 weeks.
