IMAX Corp. rises on deal to equip 31 theaters

Shares of IMAX Corp. (Nasdaq:IMAX) are higher on news before the opening that the maker of theater systems has signed a deal with Regal Cinemas Inc., a subsidiary of Regal Entertainment Group, to install 31 digital projection systems at Regal locations nationwide. Canada-based IMAX and Regal Cinemas will share profits from the new theaters.
