Albany Molecular Research jumps 21% after topping Wall Street’s Q2 estimates

Albany Molecular Research, Inc. (Nasdaq:AMRI) is up 21% after the company, a provider of scientific services, technologies and products, reported a second-quarter profit of $7.7 million, or $0.24 per share, versus a year-earlier profit of $4.6 million, or $0.14 per share. Wall Street expected earnings of $0.10 per share.
Quarterly revenue rose 17% to $57.9 million from $49.4 million a year ago. Wall Street was looking for $51.8 million.
