Spectrum Pharma says ‘lucanthone’ could treat lung cancer

Biopharmaceutical company Spectrum Pharmaceuticals, Inc., (Nasdaq:SPPI) said this morning that preclinical data on lucanthone suggest the orally administered small molecule inhibitor of DNA repair could potentially be used for the treatment of lung cancer.
