Ampco-Pittsburgh posts 12% boost in Q1 sales

After Tuesday’s opening bell, industrial equipment maker Ampco-Pittsburgh Corp. (NYSE:AP) reported first-quarter sales of $97.8 million, up 12% from $87.7 million a year earlier. Net income for the three months ended March 31 increased 6% to $10.1 million, or $1.00 per share, compared with $9.5 million, or $0.95 per share, a year earlier.
