Here are Monday’s biggest percentage gainers and losers, along with top volume leaders, among companies with a market cap between $50 million and $750 million:

Biggest percentage gainers:

Royale Energy, Inc. (Nasdaq:ROYL), up 43.4% to $8.30 despite no announcements from the San Diego-based oil and natural gas producer.
American Electric Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq:AETI), up 32.5% to $7.17 despite no reports from the Houston-based firm.
Acorda Therapeutics Inc. (Nasdaq:ACOR), up 31.3% to $28.30 after reporting positive results from its second phase 3 clinical trial of Fampridine this morning. The drug, which is aimed at improving walking ability in people with multiple sclerosis, improved the walking speed for people with the disease.

Biggest percentage losers:

Palm Harbor Homes, Inc. (Nasdaq:PHHM), down 17.3% to $6.26 even though the Addison, Tex.-based maker and marketer of factory-built homes has not issued a new announcement.
Kohlberg Capital Corp. (Nasdaq:KCAP), down 14.3% to $11.44 despite no announcements from the firm.
Simcere Pharmaceutical Group (NYSE:SCR), down 14% to $13.25 despite no significant announcements.
