Cal-Maine Foods down despite soaring Q4 profit

Cal-Maine Foods, Inc. (Nasdaq:CALM) is down less than 1% in afternoon trading despite the egg producer’s early Monday announcement that its fourth-quarter profit doubled to $36.6 million, or $1.54 per share, versus $18.3 million, or $0.77 per share, a year earlier. Quarterly revenue jumped 39% to $235.6 million from $169.9 million a year ago.
