Stocks are expected to open moderately higher Thursday morning following data out in pre-market on unemployment claims and wholesale prices.

Ahead of the bell, the Labor Department's is expected to release a report of initial jobless benefit claims, which is predicted to fall to a seasonally adjusted level of 620,000 from 623,000 last week. Despite a dip in new claims, total . . .
