LMS Medical has a considerable pipeline of products and is anticipating a continued expansion of sales in the current year. During the fiscal year ended March 31, the company grew revenues to a record C$2.85 million, up 80% from $1.58 million the previous year. LMS Medical’s backlog of signed and recurring contracts increased to C$4.4 million in the fourth quarter, up 26% from $3.5 million in the third quarter. Total new contracts in the most recent year increased 134% to C$5.85 million, compared with C$2.50 million in 2006. LMS Medical also tripled the number of client installations to 27, from nine in 2006; its total installed base is now 56 client sites. Most important, the company completed a programming initiative with McKesson to assure the interoperability of components between LMS's systems and the hospital information management systems.
