Australia’s Pharmaxis appoints new exec to BOD

Pharmaxis (Nasdaq: PXSL), which develops human therapeutic products for the treatment of chronic respiratory diseases in Australia, said late Monday night that it has appointed senior Australian pharmaceutical executive Will Delaat to its board of directors.

Delaat has 35 years experience in the global pharmaceutical industry and most recently served as the managing director of the Australian subsidiary of Merck & Co.
