The Los Gatos, Calif.-based company reported quarterly GAAP net income of $0.28 million, or $0.02 per share, compared with a loss of $2.2 million, or $0.16 per share, in the year-ago period. The small-cap company’s non-GAAP EPS of $0.07 beat Wall Street estimates of $0.06 earnings per share. “The positive effects of our realignment and cost containment measures completed in previous quarters have settled in," CEO Albert Sisto said. "This has been the turnaround quarter for hi/fn.
