Shares of Vical Inc. (Nasdaq: VICL) are sagging despite news this morning that the San Diego-based pharmaceutical company has been awarded a three-year, $6 million grant from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) for a DNA vaccine manufacturing process.
